Vor wenigen Wochen hat Crunchyroll das kommende Verlagsprogramm vorgestellt. Nun gibt es weitere Neuigkeiten zur Planung des Publishers – offenbar stehen diverse Preiserhöhungen bevor.
Das neue Programm ist inzwischen dem Buchhandel gemeldet. Mit Blick auf die hinterlegten Preisangaben fällt auf, dass verschiedene Titel ab April 2023 teurer werden. Band 26 von ONE-PUNCH MAN soll so 10,00 € kosten, zuvor lag die Reihe seit Start im Oktober 2016 bei 6,95 € pro Band. Blue Lock ist ab Band 10 betroffen: Während die reguläre Ausgabe für 8,50 € statt die gewohnten 7,50 € gelistet ist, ist für das Bundle mit Band 10 und dem zweiten Sammelschuber ein Preis von 12,00 € angesetzt. Die komplett gefüllte Box liegt bei 45,00 €, das erste Set mit den Bänden 01 – 05 wird zurzeit für 38,00 € angeboten.
Von den Anpassungen sind den vorliegenden Informationen zufolge auch Reihen wie Jujutsu Kaisen (ab Band 20), Kaiju No. 8 (ab Band 04), SHY (ab Band 13), Seraph of the End (ab Band 27), Blue Exorcist (ab Band 28) und Meisterdetektiv Ron Kamonohashi (ab Band 04) betroffen – hier sind ebenfalls jeweils 8,50 € als zukünftiger Preis angegeben. Darüber hinaus werden wohl verschiedene Neustarts teurer als ursprünglich angekündigt, darunter Ayashimon und Deep Insanity: Nirvana. Ein offizielles Statement zu der Preiserhöhung steht bislang aus. Carlsen Manga! und TOKYOPOP haben jüngst ebenfalls Anpassungen vorgenommen. Diese wurden mit höheren Produktionskosten infolge der gestiegenen Rohstoff- und Energiepreise begründet. Auch altraverse hat für 2023 schon Erhöhungen angekündigt.
